Eating Disorders Association of Canada

They fight to create an amplified voice for a group of disorders mostly ignored: eating disorders. They exist to help the nation understand them, and to build a comprehensive support system.

Mood Disorder Society of Canada

This organization's overall objective is to provide strong voice for people living with mood disorders. This is done in the hopes to improve access to treatment, inform research, and to change government policies.

The Center for Addiction and Mental Health

Setting the standards for care, research, education and social change this center dedicates itself to inspiring change. As the largest mental health teaching hospital in Canada they provide outstanding care for more than 34000 patients each year.

Canadian Mental Health Association

This association has the goal of having mentally healthy people in a healthy society. They aim to promote inclusion of all disorders and of all ages, all while staying transparent and accountable.

Youth Mental Health Canada

Advocating for a needs-based, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed mental health supports as well as services and educational accommodations this organization is youth-led, and community based. They help bring an inclusion for youth who suffer with mental disorders.

This association focuses on developing free online, self-help and evidence based resources on anxiety for children and adults both. Their vision to have a society where mental health is prioritized and free of stigma and prejudice.

Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention

Seeing a need for suicide prevention this association launched to provide resources to communities. The ultimate purpose is to minimize the harmful consequences of suicidal behavioral and to reduce the suicide rate.

PTSD Association of Canada

This association has the goal of raising awareness of what symptoms of PTSD look like to easier identify those who need help. Diagnosis can lead to treatment and eventually healing, growth and recovery.
