How did it all start?
Sometimes mental health can have an effect on daily life. That's called dysfunction. One way to avoid dysfunction is to make your own hours, rules, and expectations. That is why we chose to start business.
How did you chose scrunchies?
Someine in our family suggested we make a scrunchie as a bonding experince - we had fabric lying around. So we did, and I was not expecting to find sewing quite so soothing.
The added bonus is that I always felt better about myself if I could put a scrunchie in my hair. My family member did to, and that was the experince I wanted to share.
Why mental health?
Mental health is something that has an influence in my life, and the life of many people I know. I have seen it destroy lives, and I have seen hope. My goal is to bring more hope - becuase everyone deserves to feel loved, worthy, and understood.
Our prices are set to allow for anyone to make a purchase. Our rewards program is made to help those who may need it and to encourage people to invest in themselves.
We've been asked why we don't run BiBorder like a proper business. What they mean is why it is not run for maximum profit. That's simple. Becuase BiBorder was not made for maximum profit. BiBorder was created to help and support as many people as we could with thier mental health while also supporting ourselves. That is all BiBorder will ever be.
